Sins, Rage and Forgiveness...

In one of the posts, we discussed about the Universal Karma Theory and how one's sins can adversely impact the soul's next life. If blessings are considered powerful, so are curses. One blessing can bring wonders while curse can bring doom. For example, in the spiritual texts of Bhagvad Gita, Sri Krishna (a jovial reincarnation of Lord Vishnu) had died in a forest due to the arrow aimed by a hunter named Jara. Although this incident was inadvertent and undeliberate, the God had died while He survived the perilous war of Mahabharta. This all happened due to a curse given by a woman named Gandhari (Duryodhana's mother in The Great Indian War).

We have previously shared about the prowess of a blessing. But, what about curses? If you can be right in front of one person's eyes, then you could be wrong in front of others'. That is why we don't have people as in right and wrong but as bad and nice persons. However, some people have been told to have a Shrapit fate ( a cursed fate due to the awful karmas of previous life; thereafter, paying the debts in next life). These debts could be in the form of curses and sins. Kali Yuga, the current time period, is rife of sins, rage and curses. These debts and curses are the best way to punish the bad soul. However, not everyone has the same temperament. Let's take a situation at hand. Suppose someone commits a sin such as conning and using everyone with duplicitous personalities and lies. Basically, the person could be a psychopath who unflinchingly breaks everyone's hearts. For such a sin, one would feel restless enough to wait for the curses to impact him for his bad karmas. Hypothetically, forgiving someone else is release your soul from the stress. But practically, its tough to prove this point. Besides cursing, the person might feel like waging war against the sinner. It shouldn't be forgotten that this same war could implicate bad karmas on your fate too.

"The Great Indian War"- What was this war and its cause? Its also known as the war of Draupadi's Revenge. When she was a damsel in distress in the court, no one could rescue her including her five husbands who were simply witnesses of it although being highbrows and strong. And if it was, Sri Krishna, her brother-like and friend, did by giving endless saree. In spite of failing to take off her saree, Draupadi's wrath hadn't waned at all. For almost a decade, she yearned for revenge of this incident while resenting her husbands who hadn't saved her at all. Every single second she spent after that day went into rage, fury and restlessness. Indeed  hell was inscripted onto the fates of the people who committed this sin and Sri Krishna consoled Draupadi , but she wanted war no matter what. Mahabharta is still remembered today as it truly changed the entire world and Draupadi as the woman who brought this change. After seeing the immense loss in the aftermath of the battle, she started feeling bad and then understood- though those men in the court weren't worth the forgiveness, its best to let the Karmic Cycle to function and curses to impact. Getting out of this stress and moving on is quite crucial for your physical, social and mental well-being.

While this immense anger, try to always see on the bright side. The treacherous people of your life are always the closest one to you- either a friend, family or spouse. Being a natural human temperament, seething with fury will fade gradually, and will be harbinger of the pain the betrayer has yet to suffer.
Moreover, the law of attraction which follows that whatever you thinks happens, can be applied here. If you want to see the sinner suffer, it will undoubtedly happen however it shouldn't be you accumulating this bitterness that will make you an evil person instead. It shouldn't be you the one waging war and changing everything. At one moment of time, it seems that you are the only one drowning in the pothole of sorrow; try to see your surroundings- everyone is angry about something or the other but still they get going with their lives. Managing it also plays a critical role, which are enumerated as follows:
i) Too much bitterness swelled up inside of you? Remember- DON'T SUPPRESS IT. ITS THE WORST THING YOU COULD DO, ENDING UP MURDERING SOMEONE ELSE (DON'T BECOME A KILLER YOURSELF😅) The one you feel closest to and comfortable with is always there to have a special ear for you. Vent it out and you may never know that some of your listener's suggestions could be helpful.
ii) DO SOMETHING PRODUCTIVE. I MEAN WHAT ARE HOBBIES FOR?!- Do what you love. Do you like culinary arts? well, go for it and indulge in the pleasure of it, getting your mind off the thing nagging you.
iii) PATHWAY TO SELF-DISCOVERY: I have a personal experience of my own. Last year, I had a personality opposite of now. Since I was oblivious to Hinduism, I didn't give a chance to really understand it and found religion and spirituality boring. But the beginning of this year had a rough start for me with the onset of quarantine. I was getting agitated, frustrated and restless. One day, I saw my mother reading a novel- Sita, warrior of Mithila. Eventually, she got bored out of it. After trying every activity I could, I decided to check out what was so boring in the novel. I just read one page and within one week, finished the novel! Ultimately, spirituality became a surviving bastion of the peace of my mind. Now I am here, writing this blog. You never know- there might be a personality trait awaiting for you. These harmful scenarios can chisel you and bring something new out of you. At present, my friends are astonished to see this part of me yet elated for my path of self-discovery. Soon even 'The Sacred Truth of the Universe' will be starting a workshop and podcast episode on Self-Discovery.

I hope you all enjoyed this post. In the next one, we will be talking about something extremely interesting- The Law of Attraction and the physics involved. You want  and wish for something? Well, fasten your seatbelts 'cause you are gonna get it!
